Target towards K-2, this game gives children practice with identifying where objects are placed relative to others. Players are given a sentence with objects and a relationship and must replicate it in the display. Learn more!
This was a small project we did to help onboard one of our engineers after she was hired. I don't remember where the idea came from but it worked perfectly!
We created a really basic system for building sentences that had colors, objects, and relative locations. The design issues with the placement of objects were really minor and the final gameplay is easy for small children to understand.
A Lesson Learned...
This game is a great example of how sticking to one manageable learning objective yields excellent results. We didn't try to tackle too much and just centered the mechanics on one small idea and did it well.
